A LITTLE BIT SIXTIES, A LOT OF STYLE

Sew a timeless mini dress with the Françoise dress sewing pattern, inspired by sixties fashion and packed with stylish details. Striking French darts shape the bodice, while raglan seams give the dress its distinctive look. Choose a sleeveless version or three-quarter-length sleeves, with the option to add a statement collar and waist tab for your own take on this retro-inspired favourite.

Françoise is a brilliant first dressmaking project for beginner sewists, with a simple flat sleeve construction method and our jargon-busting instructions to guide you through each step. More experienced makers can experiment with the optional details or try adding piping along the raglan seams for a personalised finish.

Wear your handmade dress with tights and boots when it's chilly, or bare legs and sandals when the sun comes out. However you style it, Françoise is a mini dress you'll reach for season after season!
