Meet Marigold, the jumpsuit and trousers sewing pattern designed for effortless style and all-day comfort. With two versatile designs in one pattern, you can sew a relaxed pair of tapered peg trousers or a stylish jumpsuit with a sweetheart neckline and blousy waist. Both are made for easy dressing, whether you're heading out or enjoying a day at home.

The peg trousers feature an easy-fitting hip, an elasticated waistband, gentle shaping from pleats and darts, tapered ankles and handy slash pockets. The jumpsuit has a shaped bodice with bust darts, wide shoulder straps designed to conceal your bra straps, and an invisible side zip fastening.

Dress up your Marigold trousers with heels and a statement necklace for the office, or keep things casual with trainers for lounging or picnics in the park. Layer a top underneath your jumpsuit to make it work across the seasons, too.

Light- to medium-weight drapey fabrics, such as viscose (rayon), silk or poly crêpe de chine, or lighter-weight chambray. The trousers could also be made in a lightweight low-stretch jersey.
